Street food is a big part of authentic Jamaican culture, and is hearty, delicious, comforting, and provides a real taste of the islands.
Jerk has developed a global following in urban restaurants and bars, but nothing compares to the Jamaican original. But throwing spices and sauce on a piece of meat does not qualify as jerk – it’s more than seasoning. Mr Jerk is the real deal, chicken or pork is marinated and slow cooked in a oil drum aka jerk pan. The taste can not be replicated in a oven!
On the menu you will also find traditional dishes such as curry goat, oxtail, fish and slow stewed chicken served with rice and peas boiled in coconut milk for an authentic taste sensation.
