Real hand hygiene is achieved with fingertip tap operation, which provides hot running water at the ideal constant temperature of 38-43ºC.
Simply place a suitable container (not supplied) underneath the blue outlet pipe (see image above) on the TealWash to collect the waste water during hand washing.
The TealWash provides more than twenty twelve second washes, from each filling of the 5 litre water tank. And it’s easy to fill and empty with a large opening lid for a quick top-up with clean water. Close the bowl after washing and the waste water drains away.

Euro 6 compliant wiring and control
Teal vehicle units incorporate 3 wire technology. Standard battery positive – red wire, earth wire – black. The white wire is to be connected to the ignition control fuse.
Standard TW12
- When the vehicle is turned off, the battery state is quiescent at 12V.
- When switched on the ignition control wire detects vehicle turned on. The voltage sensing software will turn the heater on when 12.6 volts are detected. Thereafter the heater will be monitored by the built in thermistor and control the water temperature at 38-43ºC. When the vehicle is switched off the unit will switch off having sensed the battery voltage has dropped to 12.3V and the ignition signal has been dropped.
- The battery will not be therefore be drained by the TealWash.
Standard TW24
- When the vehicle is turned off the battery state is quiescent at 24V.
- When switched on the ignition control wire detects vehicle turned on. The voltage sensing software will turn the heater on when 25.6 volts are detected. Thereafter the heater will be monitored by the built in thermistor and control the water temperature at 38-43ºC. When the vehicle is switched off the unit will switch off having sensed the battery voltage has dropped to 25.1V and the ignition signal has been dropped.
- The battery will not be therefore be drained by the TealWash.
