10 year old handwash unit still up to the job of enabling 5* food hygiene rating!

Catering company Love Of Taste provide a sumptuous range of street food at events across the UK including their highly popular jerky, satay and smoked salmon dishes. Food hygiene is of vital importance to any such outlet, with a 5 star hand hygiene certification being a huge reassurance for customers.
Love Of Taste has been using their trusty old Handeman* mobile hand wash unit for more than ten years said the company’s owner Alan Chiang – and it still works as well as it did when they first purchased it! It enables their catering staff to enjoy a high quality hand was wherever they happen to be.
The photographs shown here were taken at a recent town festival in Coleshill in Warwickshire. The event took place on The Croft by Coleshill Church, which provided a beautiful backdrop for the event. The challenge for the street food providers present was down to the lack of available water for washing, making mobile handwashing sinks even more invaluable.
*That particular model is no longer available and has been replaced by the higher capacity Handeman Xtra.
The hands-free WashStand Xtra makes a very good impression!
Teal’s new high capacity WashStand Xtra was available at the event and Mr Chiang took time out from serving his customers to give the unit a thorough evaluation. He was particularly enthusiastic about the highly quality of the hands-free washing sequence which is enabled by a foot pump, the mobility of the WashStand Xtra – and the fact that it’s large water tank enables fifty washes per filling.
“I like the nine litre water tank” said Mr Chiang. “We can do a lot of hand washing with this – and we can do it indoors or out. It’s also surprisingly easy to wheel about. “
All of which left him thinking that an upgrade to the WashStand Xtra would be a very good idea…
