The Infection Prevention Society North East Branch is hosting their annual conference at Newcastle Racecourse in Gosforth on Wednesday 8th June 2015. The conference will focus on 'Current Challenges in Infection Prevention and Control ' and will include talks on Sepsis, Zika Virus and Patient Hand Hygiene.
This popular one-day conference is now entering its eighth year and continues to deliver an informative, stimulating and educational programme delivered by highly regarded experts in the field of infection control.
The theme of the conference is ‘From here to eternity (protecting the patients of the future)' and is aimed at all healthcare workers including Infection Prevention and Control Practitioners, Matrons/Team Leaders, Nurse Managers of Nursing and Residential Homes, Practice Nurses, Link Nurses, Staff Nurses, District Nurses, Health Visitors and Therapists.
